Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is a UGC-recognized private university founded under the Uttar Pradesh State Act (No. 29 of 2008) and authorized to confer degrees under Section 22 of the UGC Act. It provides distance education programs through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (previously the Directorate of Distance Education – DDE).
SVSU is accredited by the UGC and the NAAC. The Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB) has approved SVSU's distance education programs. Degree Validity: Degrees achieved through SVSU's online education are eligible for work, government jobs, and higher education if they are from UGC-DEB-approved programs.
