The Uttaranchal University has been recognized by the UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act of 1956, as well as by other state and national statutory authorities. The University has received the renowned "A+ Grade" from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Uttaranchal University has become the first private university in the state of Uttarakhand to receive an NAAC A+ grade in the first cycle of accreditation, firmly establishing the university among the top 5% of HEIs in the country.
