A Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA) qualifies you for a BCA. However, due of DCA, direct lateral admittance to the second year is not always possible. While some colleges may grant exemptions or lateral entrance, the majority require you to begin in the first year of the standard three-year BCA program and use your DCA to bypass some required courses.
